I saw this as an old topic on a blog post today, when searching Google for porn for women.  And it made me wonder, what romance books has the blog author been reading lately to think they are just softcore for women?

The best example I have of this is LOVER UNBOUND by J.R. Ward which lead male character Vischous likes to be in charge and you get a glimpse into his abusive past, and his Dom lifestyle of today.  These are not romance books for women looking for bodice rippers, as the brothers deal out death and destruction on a daily basis. But J.R. Ward is a genius at writing text that gets me hot and bothered, and the danger that surrounds the lead characters is all part of it.
